Community Forums Throughout New Hampshire
The New Hampshire Civic Index Report may be used as a useful tool for citizens and communities to address ways that civic participation can be enhanced. In an effort to facilitate conversations throughout the state about the results of the Civic Index and what they mean, the New Hampshire Institute of Politics will be convening five community forums throughout the state in the upcoming months.
Thanks to a grant from the Susanne Satterfield Fund at the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, the Institute will be convening forums in Portsmouth, Keene, Manchester, Upper Valley, and Berlin. The purpose of these forums is for students, parents, teachers, administrators, youth organizations, elected officials and citizens to discuss ways in which the results of the Civic Index could help inform efforts to improve civic education and participation.
